We are committed to protecting and maintaining your privacy.

This policy sets out the basis on which personal information which we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our practices concerning your personal data and how we will treat it. Personal information we collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. They are used to ‘remember’ when your computer or device accesses our Site. Cookies are essential for the effective operation of our Site and to help you shop with us online. They are also used to tailor the products and services offered and advertised to you, both on our Site and elsewhere.

Types of cookies:

  1. Strictly necessary cookies – These are cookies that are required for the operation of the Site. They include, for example, enabling users to log into secure areas of the Site and use a ‘shopping basket’.
  2. Analytical/performance cookies – These remember and count the number of visitors to the Site as well as see how visitors move around the Site when they are using it. This helps to improve the way the Site works.  Performance cookies do not collect any information which identifies users as all information collected is aggregated.
  3. Functionality cookies – These are used to recognise you when you return to the Site. This enables the provision of personalised features, for example being greeted by name and preferences being remembered (for example, your choice of language or region).
  4. Targeting cookies – These cookies record your visit to the Site and are used to make the Sites and the advertising displayed on it more relevant to your interests.  This information may also be shared with third parties for this purpose.

As we use Shopify to power our online store you can read more about which cookies are placed on your computer or device, and their function, here: https://www.shopify.ca/legal/cookies. We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site – you can read more about the types of cookies used by Google at https://policies.google.com/technologies/types.  You can also opt-out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
